Dr. Ajit Prakash is currently a Research Scientist in the Department of Biochemistry and Biophysics at the School of Medicine, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, USA where he serves as the Chair of the BCBP Postdoc Committee. His extensive research background includes postdoctoral work under the mentorship of Dr. Sharon Campbell at UNC Chapel Hill from 2018 to 2023. Prior to this, Dr. Prakash contributed to the field as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biotechnology at Lovely Professional University, India, and held postdoctoral and research positions at the University of Cambridge and Nanyang Technological University, respectively. Dr. Prakash's diverse experience spans multiple continents and institutions, reflecting a robust expertise in academic peership.
